George has had a lifelong passion regarding the integration of the Christian faith with all aspects of the human experience - education, work, family, community, etc. So, when he was approached by a longtime commercial real estate friend (William Adjei) about helping to guide and grow a K-12 biblically-based school with a classical learning curriculum, George was pleased to accept the invitation to participate in the adventure.
George has been married for over 40 years to Judy, who is a professional musician, a fair-trade store owner, a grief counselor and a women's ministry director. They have four adult children who are all married and reside in the Chicago area. George and Judy also have six grandchildren with several more anticipated to arrive before the end of this year.
George has been an active member of Christ Church-Lake Forest since the mid-1980's. He served as an elder for two terms and presently plays electric bass on Sunday mornings in several of the church's worship bands.
George focused his career in the commercial real estate industry - initially as a brokerage professional and for the last 25+ years in a variety of leadership roles. He has a BA in Psychology from Wheaton College, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Business, and most recently a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University.
